Surgery: Forearm
Surgical treatment for forearm deformities in people with MHE can help improve function and appearance. There are various procedures available to address bone shortening, joint alignment, and mobility limitations.
Peroneal nerve decompression surgery may be indicated for pain, numbness, weakness, or foot drop due to nerve compression. Most patients report improvement (and some risk of recurrence in younger individuals).
